I had another good day today. I finished my errands and spent two hours in the dentist chair, uncomfortable yes but I am so relieved that appointment is over and I am off the dentist list for another six months.
I had a couple of special surprises today....a beautiful bouquet of flowers from a dear friend but the most special was a hand made card from my friend Diana of Welcome to My World. It is the most beautiful and thoughtful card I think I have ever received, and she enclosed the loveliest crochet book mark which will forever be in whatever book I am reading. Just knowing she made both the card and bookmark with me in mind filled heart with love and my eyes with tears. Thank you my friend, we do have the most wonderful people in our village......and you my friend made my day extra special. Love you.
It was very cold again today with snow and we have more snow on the way tonight and tomorrow morning.....The wind would give anyone frost bite in minutes today I am sure. Now the good news is that we are suppose to warm up by the weekend and be in double digits and I am looking forward to a break from the cold and all the snow.
I have changed my appointment from Wednesday to Friday with Dr. John because of the weather....I don't like driving on a slippery highway let alone when it's snowing. He was okay with that as a couple of days will not hurt anything. I am finished with these antibiotics on Thursday and he promised me on the phone today I will not have to take anymore antibiotics by mouth again....now the IV's is a different story. I may be in hospital next week for 2 -3 days for the IV's and my test. I will know more when I see him on Friday. I am okay with this as I just want to feel better and get my life back.
There is a baby shower for baby Lucy on Saturday and I am praying that I am well enough to be able to attend. I purchased a gift and card and am ready and willing now I just need to be able.

So glad you're out of the dentist's chair. I will find myself in one on Friday as I get my Root canal done. I really AM looking forward to that. I know from experience that it does relieve the pain and save the tooth!!

Though my only comtact with Janine has been through one comment on a post of mine and through wonderful bloggers like yourself, Bernie, I will be remembering her in prayer.
Michael and I are going to a healing Mass tonight so it will be extra special since we can also lift your health up in prayer tonight as I do worry about you, my friend.
I did make home made chicken soup and wish you could have some with us!

Well Bernie, it may warm up for you, but a few of your snowflakes are expected to be blowing down this way over the weekend! I have had to turn our heat on...but I enjoy cold weather, so I'm not complaining.
Think of your hospital stay as a spa visit...being waited on hand and foot...ask for a back massage

We are having a snow storm right now, suppose to be over by early evening and then the snow is suppose to go away for a while. So glad I am inside as by the radio reports there are cars all over the place out there....a nice fire for me today my friend.
I don't mind the cooler weather either Wanda but felt winter arrived way to early.
I am hoping to make Lucy's baby shower as well...
Oh my gosh Wanda I even have to take my own insulin and personal items in with me, I doubt I'll get a back rub.....ah but I can dream.

This was precisely what I had in mind when I was leaving a comment on Wanda's blog. May God guide the surgeon who is performing the surgery and may Janine become fighting fit in no time. People with that beautiful and pure a heart need His special care.
I am SO sorry Bernie for the delay and my absense. I have missed everyone so much! My routine these days is maddening, but I won't let that become an excuse for not getting onto everyone's pages.
I pray that all goes well with your appointment and I wish you experience no pain and recuperate soon enough. It bothers me to come back and see so many of our kins ill. Get well soon Bernie. Loads of love to you

I missed this: Diana is exceptional no doubt and her gesture of sending you those precious gifts goes to show what a wonderful human being she is. We sure are privileged to know her. I am for sure :)
I hope the doctor is able to correctly diagnose the issue. Please go there with lots of hope and don't keep any kind of sadness in your heart Bernie. Let it out to anyone whom you love and trust the most. I am SO SO thankful to God I got to know you and so many other wonderful people here on blogger whom I'd never be able to meet otherwise. I will indeed say prayers for Janine, and for your latest treatment. I dread hearing about the snow because I know soon we will have outs. I had to shift gears today after spending the last few days putting that "Ball" together. Thanks for your sweet comments.
