A Happy Sunday

Hello my friends, I hope each and every one of you had a great day. I truly did.

I went to Mass this morning then joined friends from church for breakfast at a local dinner in town called Friendly Neighbours...it was packed as so many had the same idea as we did. It is a very plain but warm and friendly, owned by a family here in town. The food was very good the coffee great and I so enjoyed my friends.

When I got home I settled in to watch the finals of the Curling Masters, it was a great game and before it finished my friend called me to go over as her daughter and her granddaughters were visiting. I told her I would be over as soon as the game was over. My team won the game and off I went to visit.

What a treat it was to see her and her family. Her daughter has 3 little girls, all under 5 years old and they are so sweet. It was sunny outside and cool but we bundled up and took the girls for a walk.....when we got home I read them stories and played with them as my friend and her daughter made supper. It was so nice to share supper with them and I laughed so much watching the girls, such a sweet age.

I came home in time to watch the baseball game and yay my Yankees won. It was quite a day.... filled with good friends, beautiful children and great food. I feel very blessed tonight as I get ready for sleep.

I am thinking of my friend Di, and am praying as I know you all are, that her husband gets well and comes home from hospital very soon.

Good Night and God Bless and as always.....many, many hugs.....:-)

What a lovely day you had. I sat at a double header baseball game. Two hours inbetween games. Game across a small street fair in the town square. Windy day, but not cold, not hot.Mexican food for dinner. Guess that is a pretty happy day. too.

I must have caught it from you.

Happy Sunday must have been catchy. I slept in and my husband brought me breakfast in bed. Then a double header in baseball for my youngest son. Caught a nap in betweeen games. Then Mexican food and home. Nice day.

Hurrah to Sundays!

I caught about five minutes of the news last night and saw that the Yankees won! I thought of you immediately Bernie. That had to top your day off just right!
I am going to the hospital soon as our doctor is supposed to be there this morning,I don't want to miss him. I will let you know later what I hear. Thank you for the prayers Bernie!

Good morning Bernie,
Your Sunday seemed made to order, good game, good food, and good company, especially the 3 little girls!

I spent much of the weekend with Alivia, her maternal grampa is in the hospital with complications after carotid artery surgery!

Hope our internet provider has fixed their problems, I hate missing eveyone's postings and getting behind.

It's cold enough here that you could see the breath of a large buck in the field just now! It's almost time to rake some leaves too, they are getting pretty deep out there!

Luv and Smiles,
Wanda

Sounds like a beautiful day, Bernie!

And I'm happily surprised to hear you say 'my Yankees'! Sweet!
Ray, of course, is in his glory about it all!

I have to catch up on everyone, I have some things going on here at home (always some kind of drama going on when you have a big family, I guess it comes with the territory), but I'm going to try and read back over the next few days.

I will add your friend's husband to my prayer list.
So nice to be reading and visiting with you again, Bernie!
I've missed you!
Love to you!, Eileen

I bet you were a great babysitter for those little girls!
Those walks outside in the brisk air feels good sometimes, and it feels even better to get back to a warm, cozy living room full of friends and a good meal.
Stay warm and I hope the best for your friend's health....
