Welcome Home Laura Ling and Euna Lee

Oh my friends, our prayers have been answered. The tears streamed down my face as I watched these two young journalist reunite with their families. I am just so happy for everyone....way to go USA! I don't know how you managed it, in fact it doesn't matter to me at all but the results matter very much to me. I have been praying every day for several months for their release. Oh I am so thankful for this wonderful blessing.
I am bursting with happiness and just had to share it with all of you.....:-) Hugs

It was an occassion to be proud of...to see their tears of happiness brought tears to my eyes too Bernie! I so wish the whole world would change for the better...to coexist in peace and harmony...like the U.S. and Canada!

Yea this is wonderful news! My daughter is a journalist and I was always grateful that she never decided to cover anything abroad!
I just got back from the library Bernie and checked out "Resilience". I am starting it tonight.

I am at the library doing some "catch up" on my blog reading as I have been without a computer for six days. Whew! I agree with you and am so glad that the journalists are home. Also, it it good to read that you are healthy and able to serve others. Blessings. Brenda

Your "busy day" yesterday was indeed packed full! I'm rejoicing with you re. this return home for the two gals & also for your good numbers at the doctors & your next volunteer/service opportunity. I know you are a blessing to many, many people.

Now, what did you mean about keeping the car till you move home. Have I missed the "moving home" information? When? Where? Why? (if it's any of my business :))

Oh Wanda, wasn't it wonerful to see their home coming. I was so happy for them and their families. We need more happy stories like these, and only will see more happy endings when we do learn to coexist togther and it has to start with accepting each other as we are....I had an emotional rollar coaster today as met with favorite patients wife this afternoon. So sad Wanda, broke my heart not to mention these antibiotics are making me ill....not sure if I can continue with them as have been in the washroom most of this evening. Will call dentist in the morning. I have taken a gravol but its not helping much.....luv ya, :-)

Hi Diana, hope you enjoy this wonderful woman's story....so strong yet sad in ways but she still embraces life....loved it.

Hi Brenda, sorry to hear you have been without your computer....gosh mine is attached to me, don't know what I would do, how smart of you to think of the library. I should take advantage of our library as I read at least 3 books a week and then just pass them on to our library each year. So happy for the journalist Brenda, just a warm and fuzzy feeling for everyone involved and a prayer answered. Have a great evening....Hugs

Hi Rebecca, by moving home I mean I will moving back where my famiy lives in 3 years (when I am 65) and plan on trading my car then. God willing I will still be blogging from there as well.
So happy for the journalist and their families and yes all my numbers were normal, which is great, at doctors yesterday. Have been working hard for these results for months now...Hugs

I haven't been watching the news lately because I've been working a lot. Thanks for blogging about Laura & Euna...now I feel caught up on what's going on with that situation.

Wow, I'm so impressed to hear some of you blog followers of Bernie's go to the library to use the Internet computers....we public libraries aim to please (I'm a librarian!). It's fun reading your blog Bernie.

Hello tainterturtles, so glad you have come over for a visit and what a great profession you have. I can't imagine anything better than working around books each day as I am such an avid reader. My problem is they grow and multiply like rabbits in my house until there is no more room.... than I donate them to my local library. Come back to visit soon and have a great day....:-) Hugs

We saw it on the news last evening. It is indeed an answer to prayer.
Not much 'Good' news about most days, so it is thankful when some really great news comes.
Love Granny

Granny, it was wonderful wasn't it. I was so happy for them. We do need more feel good stories like this Granny....if only all countries could get along now that would be an answered prayer for sure...Have a great day...:-) Hugs

Hi Gail, you truly deserve an award like this...its easy, you can either copy and paste from my blog to yours or right click on award and e-mail award picture to yourself and then transfer to your blog page. Also to tag seven bloggers, after you have chosen who you want to share the award with you go to their comment section and ask them to visit your site and they will read that you have chosen them for the award. Let me know if you need more help okay...I was the same way Gail, had to have Wanda help me to post a picture even....Jackie and Diana have helped me as well, so I know anyone of these 3 will help you at anytime if they can....:-) Hugs
