Hello my friends, hope you all had as wonderful a day as I have. If I were any more relaxed I am sure someone would bury me. I have just finished a meditation CD, it was only for 20 minutes and it was wonderful....so glad I had my lavender bubble bath before or else I would of fell asleep in the tub.
Just a few more pictures of my family to share with you, are you bored yet?
My sister in law, Karen a perfect hostess and just as beautiful inside as outside.
My sister in law, Anne Marie (also one of my best friends, myself and my sister Sylvia who is so much like our mother, honestly she could make a dog laugh.
The Main Men in My Life, my brothers....Frank and Jack
My brothers with their wives....love them so much
Just your typical picture, my brother with a bottle of wine and my sister in law with her beautiful smile.......could of been taken anytime of year...LOL
Okay I have more but will give you all a break for awhile and will post them later. My only regret is that our sister Sheila, from Scotland wasn't with us, we always miss her and her family when we are together and she is so far away. We know she is happy in Scotland with her family and that makes it easier for us to miss her from afar.
Have a wonderful day tomorrow, am off to read my favorite blogs and comments....as always Good Night and God Bless....:-) Hugs

wonderful pics. Looks like a fun time was had and I am glad you could relax in your bath.*s*
rGood morning Bernie...It's nice seeing photos of your family...I remember you stating you were the smallest one...well, your brothers do tower over you...your love for them is evident.
A storm with a constant roar of thunder has been approaching very slowly this morning...and the rain just started. Storms with such power are menacing and peaceful at the same time! Storms with wind always produce branches for us to deal with.
Hope the dentist appt. is short and sweet...will be thinking of you Bernie...
I should go...very large clap of thunder and lightening nearby!Smiles Wanda
Great pictures! You can just see the happiness on your face as well as the other family members in these pictures. You can see how special time spent together is.
It's funny because as I was looking at the pictures I was thinking of your sister in Scotland and wondering when is the last time there was a family reunion that she was able to attend? It's hard when family is spread out, but it makes it all the more special when loved ones finally can get together.
It's obvious that distance can't really separate us, I have family members and friends (and many friends in blogland) that I never see and yet I consider us very close, and then I have some family members that are nearby geographically but we are not close at all. It's lack of communication that separates us, not geography.
Well, I have been enjoying your posts so much! It's so good to have you back!
And I'm loving all the pictures, keep them coming!
Love,
Eileen
Good Morning Bernie,
Your whole family looks as warm and welcoming as you do! I'm definetly not tired of your photos!
Do you ever get to visit your sister in Scotland? I think that I would jump at that chance!
The love you all have for each other is evident....and look at those smiles!! I am so happy for you that you got to have this quality family time together...
Bernie....may I say that you are radiant....simply radiant!!
I don't tire of any of your photos...bring them on!!
Love you,
Jackie
Your family pictures are not at all boring...how can one get bored with seeing smiling faces??? The world needs MORE of that not less.
Will be saying a few extra prayers for your trip to the dentist today.
Now you know I have to ask the name of that CD that so relaxed you??? We like to fall asleep to soothing music, but sometimes it's hard to find.
blessings and hugs,
marcy
Hi Silver, it was a wonderful get together....and it absolutely could of been the wine.....have a wonderful day my friend....:-) Hugs
Hi Garnet, oh it so was. How is your daughter doing and how is your knee? I think of you both so often.......:-) Hugs
Good morning Wanda, I think I came back to Stormville instead of Morinville.....we have had massive thunder/lightening storms since my return. Have a busy day with Dr. John this morning and dentist this afternoon...hoping the rain holds off till I get home. Take care sweetie.....:-) Hugs
Hi Eileen, I agree, its lack of communication on geography that separates us, so sad as families are so wonderful and always have been there for me with a soft place to land when I fall. I find I am loving my blogger friends in much the same way....have a great day.....:-) hugs
Hi Diana, my family is pretty special but then I'm a bit prejudice.....I visited my sister in Scotland just last June and we went to Ireland together...we all haven't been together since my mom's funeral 14 years ago and somehow we all knew it would probably be the last time and since then we have lost our oldest brother 3 years ago. It just makes the times when we do get together that much more special...have a wonderful day.....:-) Hugs
Hi Joan, I am blessed as I manage to get home every summer now since I retired....they all came to Alberta when I went through breast cancer, my sister Sylvia stayed with me for 9 months and my sister Sheila was here for 3 months, I am so blessed to have them....as I am sure everyone feels the same way about their siblings (well most anyway) Have a great day Joan, looking forward to more of your wonderful pictures....:-) Hugs
Hi Jackie, well maybe being with my family brings out the "happy" in me though I am usually always quite happy and thankful for all my blessings.....:-) Hugs
Hi Marcy, my family have a wonderful sense of humor and to spend time with them is to laugh all the time....some people probably think we are nuts but we have always been this way since we were kids, could always find something to laugh about and when we couldn't we made things up...LOL
My CD is upstairs in my machine, I am off to a Dr. appointment but will give you the name of it tonight when I comment okay. Have a great day ........ :-) Hugs
Hi Bernie-
I love seeing your family photos. And I love more your wonderful words about them - each so special, unique and purposeful in your life. :-)
You look so tiny in between your two big brothers. I loved how protected and safe you looked nestled in between them.
Love to you
Gail
peace.....
Hi Bernie,
I'm so enjoying your pictures - everyone looks so jovial. You are looking very svelte! Hope that the tooth situation is solved by day's end.
Hi Gail, when I am with my brothers I feel very safe and secure....my brother told me when I was home that as long as he has a roof over his head I would have a home. I can't tell you how wonderful that was to hear as I am on my own now and am blessed to own my own home....I love my independence but who knows what lies down the road....its just knowing I have a back up plan should I need the help, God willing my health and life will allow me to take care of myself but as families are we all look out for each other....I wouldn't hesitate to keep any of them with me should they need me either. Take care my friend.....:-) Hugs
Hi Barb, thank you for your kind words, I am back to my life change eating habits and started back at Curves today....I want to loose the couple of lbs. I put on when I was home. I ate and drank every day and when I told Dr. John today, he said good for you, you lived. He knows that I will take control of my health as usual and is so encouraging. I am having a root canal on my tooth, no choice and I need 4 more appointmenst before I am done. My dentist put me on another antibiotic today, so I am now on 7 a day for another week...it is so much better but is sore tonight from his working on it for a short time. Its okay, I know its going to take a while but the end result will be worth it. Take care my friend....:-) Hugs
