Wonderful Gifts From Wonderful Bloggers

Friends, just wanted to add a note to this post:

I am sorry I haven't been commenting but I have been sick the last couple of days with the flu. I hope to be back blogging on a regular basis really soon. Thank you all for understanding.......:-) Hugs

I had set a post for last night but somehow blogger not only didn't print it but now I cannot find it.......when I went to publish it manually it went into cyber space. Sometimes I feel I wasn't meant to use a computer.

Over the past several months I have received gifts from all of over the world. I have e-mailed or sent thank you cards to these lovely bloggers who were so very thoughtful. Last nights post included links to each blog but I fell asleep worried that I may have left someone out.....perhaps this is the way it is suppose to be. They know how thankful I am for the their

I have received doilies, sachets, refrigerator magnets, several book marks, soaps and a journal. I have also read two published books written by two of my favorite bloggers, one was called Visions, written by Victor Semoubarak a favorite author of mine. Everyday on his bog, Time for Reflections he writes about a priest, Father Ignatius and his parish. After reading Victor's book I passed it on to my niece and great niece. My great niece who is 14 loved it and I loved how she learn so many life lessons in such a kind and gentle way. She asked many questions and gave me the opportunity to help her with certain life problems which she is experiencing right now. I would absolutely recommend this book for all those who are teaching Catechism classes. It is a wonderful tool to have on hand to teach young people about our world today.

Another favorite author and blogger is Rose Marie Raccioppi. Her blog is called Apogee Poet and her published book is filled with the most wonderful poems. I encourage all of you to visit Rose Marie and Victor. I am sure you will be pleased with their blogs and talents.

I sincerely hope I have not left a much appreciated gift off my list, if I have it certainly was not intentional. I do not blog to received gifts, if I say something that can help or encourage someone through a difficult time then I am happy. I share my heart and realize that I do not have a monopoly on human feelings, I am not the only one who cares for others.......I feel that each one of us would and do reach out and help others whenever we can. Bloggers have a special bond, a certain connection to each other that cannot be found in any other genre....we are all blessed.

Bernie, I wonder about my computer skills too. My favorite blogs keep just vanishing off my list. I keep noticing every so often one is gone. I just put it back on and have no idea what happened. I have received a lot of gifts and won several giveaways too. That is just the amazing world of bloggerland. Just gotta love it. Blessings

Hi Bernie...Blogger does seem to have multiple problems going on here and there sometimes, just often enough to make one question what's going on. I haven't changed over to the new editor, for fear I won't like it. Have you done it yet?
I will visit those you mentioned, Bernie. I'm sure your generous friends know how appreciative you are and if you've overlooked something, they would understand.

It is a bond that non bloggers cannot understand.

It is a great pity that your post disappeared into cyber space! I often wonder if there is a great black hole up there that contains all our precious work!

You are such a kind hearted lady that you deserve all the things that you receive, Bernie.
Hope you are enjoying the Spring weather.

Thank you Bernie for mentioning my book and my Blog here. You're very kind to me.

If my book helps just one person experience the love of Christ - then that's my gift and that's all I wish.

God bless and love you Bernie.

P.S. Details of my book are on the right margin of my Blog.

Good Morning Bernie,
I haven't lost a post yet but I have deleted some because I couldn't get the photos right. With the new blogger editor I've had no troubles with photos at all, I love it.
You are right about bloggers Bernie, they are a wonderful bunch. I still dream of having a blogger reunion! How fun that would be.
And Bernie, I feel as though you are a wonderful friend and I know that I can talk to you about anything. Good or bad, you are a great friend!
Love and Hugs to you
Love Di ♥

Hi Bernie,
Blogger has been acting very strange with comments and posting not being published. As well as e-mails that have been sent, but never received. Perhaps it is all going somewhere into cyber space. Blogland is certainly an interesting place. It is a place to share, learn and make new friends. Blogland is an amazing place.
Take care and have a wonderful day.

Beautiful post, Bernie!
A lovely summary of gratitude, and friendship, and the unique bond that exists in the blog world.

I can't tell you how many posts I have lost lately! Or I'll upload tons of pictures, they are there in my 'compose' part of the post but when I try to 'preview' they are gone, and when I try to publish they have vanished too. I'm getting tired of it. It seems like if I do a 'spur of the moment' post, it's fine. But when I try to set one up for a future post, lots of problems. I'm nervous for some special posts I have coming up.
Well, I'll just cross my fingers and hope it all works out.

Facebook/Farmville and Blogger have all been headaches for me lately, and if it weren't for the wonderful friendships I have found through each venue, I'd be throwing them all overboard now!
It's the time wasted that hurts most. I spend hours at each task and many times it's all for naught! And that's time that I've plunked Jayden down in front of the TV to occupy him, or times I've told my husband that no I can't go for a walk because I'm uploading pictures for a post of mine or fertilizing someone's farm on Farmville!! How selfish of me! And then it all isn't working out anyway and that's more time I have to spend at the computer! Every time I complain my husband says, "Just give it up! Come do something in real life!"

I agree with Maggie May about the bond that non-bloggers can't understand! I think Ray does understand a little, we have conversations all the time about my friends in blog land, and he'll even ask me about you all, but other people in my family think I'm nuts!

Well, I'm off to visit others in blog land right now!
Love to you,
Eileen

I've received gifts too and am always very surprised to get them, but very delighted. I think it is one of the nicest ways to find out how appreciated you are, but certainly not the only one!

Bernie,
I have the worst computer skills of all! You wouldn't believe how many things I have lost in the blogosphere! My sister had to come over to teach me how to cut and paste. Everything else I learned from kind bloggers who e-mailed me and explained how to do things :) I still don't know how to put a video up. Like you, though, I love the Lord so maybe our computer skills don't matter too much :)By the way, do you know what everybody means by switching over to the new editor? Wanda wrote that in your comments and others have mentioned it.
I love Victor's blog but I didn't know about the other one you recommend. I'll go check it out, I love poetry!
Does a hug count as a gift? Cause I'm sending some your way :)God bless you, Bernie!

I shall return to this post to visit the two friends whose blogs you recommend :)

I've seen life without computers. And with it. I liked the former for the simplicity and the latter because of the necessity and because it's bread and butter!

Hi Bernie, I was sorry to hear you were under the weather (well, it was a little gloomy out there for a few days)..... and I am happy to hear you are on the mend.

I've been not as involved in my blog of late.... busy with other things that seem to need my attention.

But today I'm trying to catch a sneak visit to some of my friends.

Glad I stopped by. Here's wishing you complete restoration and strength to every cell of your being.

Hugs..... Brenda
