I've Been Busy

Hello my friends, I know its Ground hog day but he won't see his shadow here in Alberta for sure.....we haven't seen the sun in weeks. I have been very busy with.... well just with life really.

My friend Jackie is still in hospital, it has been almost a month now and she is growing so weary.....she has been moved from ICU to step down ICU so that is progress in a way. I think I am as anxious for her to come home as she is, I really miss my friend and neighbour.

I received this poem by e-mail and just had to share it with you all.

Cleaning Poem

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess
He asked if I've been "putering"
I had to answer yes
He told me to get off my butt
And tidy up the house
So I started cleaning up
The smudges off my mouse
I wiped and shined the topside
That really did the trick...
I was admiring my good work
I didn't mean to click
But click I did, and oops - I found
A real absorbing site
That I got so into it
I was into it all night

So nothing's changed except my mouse
It's as shiny as the sun
I guess my house will stay a mess
While I sit here on my bum!

"I love my computer because my friends live in it"

Have a great week everyone and thank you all for your prayers for Lisa. My eyes filled with tears when I visited your sites and saw her button, my village is the best.

Good Night and God Bless......and many, many hugs

Hi Bernie
Cheacking in with you early as I have a busy day ahead of me.

It's good to keep busy my friend.
I too have been very busy lately but always find time just for me as I love that quiet time alone!

Hope so much your friend will soon be home from the hospital.

The little poem was so funny!
I do set a time limit on my laptop though since I've come back.
There is just so much to experience of life away from the computer and I do not want to miss it!
But I do enjoy my visits to my blog friends!
But, that is sometimes hard to keep up with.
I'm doing my best though!

Hugs to you!

Margie:)

You made me smile this morning Bernie, with this cute poem! Friends do live in here don't they!

I hope Jackie is able to come home soon and putting Lisa's button on the sidebar was something I was happy to do, our village is great!

I need to work on another birthday post...hope the villages don't revolt. I could do a little cleaning too!
Love...Wanda

Hi Dear Friend,

Thank you so much for your sweet and loving comment in the wee hours of this morning. That means so much to me that you are thinking and praying for my sweet sister today. They took her into surgery at 12:16 P.M. this afternoon. I will update on my blog when I hear from my nephew later today. God is Good and I so love my blogging sisters and brothers.

God bless you this day my sweet sister.

'So sorry about your friend Jackie. I hope things turn around for her soon, I'll keep her in my prayers.

That poem reminds me of me! Once I am on here I can kiss the day good-bye! Between blogging and Facebook (which has now become my main form of communication with extended family! And they got me into this Farmville game which has become an addiction.), I get nothing done! It's funny, just these few days away from blogging have been productive, but still lots more to do!

Love to you,
Eileen

Bernie said...

Eileen, my nieces and sisters wanted me join farmville but I just had to say no....spend enough time on the computer as it is.
I prefer blogging to FB but it really does help to keep up with family......:-) hugs

OMG What happened to our Jackie? I visited her blog, but I don't see the place to leave comments. What's wrong?

Bernie said...

Stillness, Jackie has been really busy lately and in order for her to catch with everything she has turned her comments off....she will keep posting and reading our post and will be back to comments when she can.
I know it is a strange feeling not being able to talk with her, she is doing the best she can.
Luv you.......:-) Hugs

Tranquility Speaks said...

Alright, but why did she have to be admitted to the ICU!! That spooks me out! I hope she is better now..

P.S I slept very well yesterday, Thank you! I wonder what'd have happened to me, had there been no weekends!

Bernie said...

Stillness, my friend has a lung disease (can't spell it) but her lungs are becoming very hard, there is no cure for it. It is very sad as she is only 54 and her daughters are 23 and 21. Her prognosis is not very good.

So glad you got some sleep my friend.....luv you....:-) Hugs
