A Wonderful Day

Hello everyone, I can only hope you all had a wonderful day as I did. I didn't do anything special but I am well rested and watched baseball and hockey most of the day. I love these kind of days. Pain free and relaxed beside the fire.

I woke up to a dusting of snow this morning, it soon melted but they are calling for more snow tonight and tomorrow. Terry is coming in early tomorrow morning as I have several appointments and she is coming with me. Dr. John called early this evening and said so many things that I honestly can't remember our full conversation. Anyway Terry is coming with me tomorrow to see him and between the two of us we will know what this plan and procedure is all about. Will let you know when I fully understand everything....just know I am feeling really well now. Terry will also go with me for my cortisone shots on Friday and I am relieved about that as I have to drive into the city and back, with her doing the driving I will just relax.

I had told you I have been writing to a pen pal in Scotland, he is a friend of my sister's. I am enjoying reviving the lost art of letter writing very much. Thought I would share Tommy's picture with all of you.

My friend, Tommy

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone, Good Night and God Bless....:-) Hugs

Oh, so glad you are feeling really well now Bernie.
That is wonderful!
And glad you had such a good day.
Mine was so very busy and soon as I finish with this comment, I'm off to bed ... I'm so exhausted!

Snow there already, oh, it's like that in Alberta, I forgot!

It will be good to have your friend Terry with you when you see your Dr. tomorrow.

Oh, a dashing pen pal you have from the lovely land of Scotland.
I think I mentioned to you that I was there in 2007, didn't I?
Such a beutiful place.

Well, off to bed now.
Sweet dreams.

HUGS,

Margie:)

So you had snow? Wow!! I stupidly forgot when you sent the addresses...that you live in Canada...I've been there when I was a very small girl. My parents took us to see Niagra Falls and then to Canada...I remember lots of water on the way up :)
I like snow, so I think that's pretty cool!!
I'm glad you have such a good friend to go with you to your appointments...it's nice to have that kind of support...and I agree...I like to just ride along and rest and be able to enjoy the view :)
And your pen-pal is pretty cute!! That's the nice kind to have :)
Keeping you in my prayers...
Love......Jerelene

Replying to your two posts, Bernie. A day off from blogging has thrown me.
First, I'm glad you had a good time with your best friends and that you felt well enough to enjoy the visit.
Second, I hope you get on okay with the procedure and treatment. Sending special hugs to take with you.
Third, what a nice looking man you have tucked away... smiles.

So glad to see you back posting Bernie, all your days sound wonderful, at least you make them sound so, as is your nature... so optimistic.
I shall pray for your ills and treatments, we are all rooting for you.
You mention snow! Wow, I haven't got round to thinking on that sort of weather yet; we have had a wet and windy period, but today is warm and sunny, in fact we have had some of the warmest nights recorded for October.
My love to you, and also prayers.

Good morning Bernie...
I am going to be waiting patiently for any news you wish to tell us about your appointment today Bernie. So glad Terry will be with you. I know you said no reason to be concerned, but can't help it. Any illness is not at all pleasant to have.

I agree with everyone else Bernie, your pen pal in Scotland is very good looking, have you been writing very long to this wonderful gentleman? Just kidding!

Will be saying prayers for the plans and procedures to be simple...and have you feeling your best soon.

Luv and Smiles,
Wanda

Bernie, I am glad you have a friend to go with you to your doctors. sometime the jargon can be overwhelming! You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope all will be okay. Your pen pal is a good looking fellow and love the idea of letter writing. Please know that you are loved today, big hug.

I'm praying for your doctor's visits....those prayers will be foremost in my thoughts.
The 'dusting' of snow sounds heavenly to me. I would love to see snow. Like I have posted before, if we have snow here, it is declared a 'national holiday!'
:)))
I'm glad that you are enjoying your pen pal from Scotland. It is so nice to make friends from other parts of the the world. He looks like a very nice gentleman.
Have a good day, Bernie, and know that you are surrounded...covered...protected in prayers today.
Love,
Jackie

I love the sound of your day, all cozy in the house beside a fire with the snow outside!
And I'm glad you'll have Terry with you, it's so much better to have someone with you when the doctor is explaining everything. And also the fact that she can do the driving is such a big help too!

I love the idea of pen-pals too. It really does make the world smaller, as does blogging!

'Hope you enjoy another nice day, my friend!
Love you, Eileen

Good Morning Bernie,
I must say Tommy is quite attractive! I too miss the letter writing, which is why I agreed to do the pen pal thing!
I am so happy that you had a quite and pain free day. Where are you getting the cortisone shot Bernie? I don't remember you telling me.
I can't believe you had a dusting already! But it is that time of year I suppose. It's supposed to turn pretty cool here this weekend. High in the fifty's they say! Enjoy the quite time Bernie. I will be thinking of you!

He is very nice looking Bernie and you can get 'in trouble' even thousands of miles away. I met Michael online and I was in Arizona and he was in Georgia, but I got into good 'trouble' that way!

Love when you have a good day and just wish that was an everyday occurance for you!

blessings and hugs,

marcy

Hi Bernie,
It is good to hear that you are feeling well. I hope all goes well at the Dr.
What a handsome man Tommy is. It must be so much fun writing and receiving mail. With technology that has become something of the past.
Snow already? It has been so hot here.
Stay warm.
Take care.
