It's Wednesday...You Know What That Means

Hello my friends, hope your day was full of sunshine, family and love. Our weather is a bit cool and very wet, in fact I now hear thunder through my open window. Here goes my Wednesday poem..ah, how much longer are we doing this Marcy????

Write a poem, make it rhyme
It's okay, just take your time.....

Blogging is happy, blogging is fun
It can be done by anyone
Tell a story, share your day
Don't let a poem get in the way.....

I just want to say to you
I enjoy all you say and do
It makes my day, brings me light
To hear from you brings such delight....

This is it, its my best try
Before I leave and say goodbye!

You know I was actually going to try and work on a poem for you all today but life got in the way and as I began to blog tonight I remembered so I apologize for my feeble attempt....but you all mean enough to me to try anyway.

I went to Curves this morning, then had to go and have the police take pictures of my car and write up a report. Tomorrow I have to take it in for an assessment. Hopefully it will be fixed the first week in August....I also picked up some fresh fruit and went into sign some papers and picked up my Will. Then I had to go to the bank and put one copy in in Safety Deposit Box, mailed a parcel to a friend in the States and finally arrived home around supper time. My days are full this week but when I leave on Tuesday I should be well organized and able to enjoy my vacation. I still haven't figured out a way to get my camera but my girlfriend lives towards the airport, she is calling me Saturday to make plans.

Tomorrow is my quiet day, the cleaning lady comes in for two hours then I am taking my car in for assessment, picking my bracelet and ring up at the jewellers and also going to the drugstore for my insulin and needles I will need when I'm away and I want to pick up a couple of magazines to read on the plane.

My great niece, Fallon called today. She wanted to come over for a few days so we made plans for her to visit in August. We always have fun together. She has saved her money for a digital camera as I had told her if she saved half, I would give her the other half. She is now anxious to go shopping. It will be fun to take her as she is so much like me when I was little its scary. I think that is why we are so close and have been ever since she was born.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow everyone....Good Night and God Bless...:-) Hugs

Cute poem, says just what you want it to say!
Love the name 'Fallon' so unusual, [over here anyway] Something for you to look forward to next month when she visits.
Glad to say the sun is shining here today, dry but cooler than of late.
Love Granny

Hi Granny, I am glad you are getting the sun, I shouldn't complain though as our farmers really need this rain we are having. It is pouring down. Yes I love the name Fallon, I think its Irish, and she is a real cutie. She is 12 going on 40! Have a great day Granny,.....:-) Hugs

The day flies by when something exciting is coming up isn't it :) I can sense that excitement in your writing :)

And by the way your attempt at poetry was a good one again :)

It is nice to know that once you return, you will have another of your close relatives visit. Feels wonderful to be with those you love the most :)

Have a wonderful day ahead Bernie, and don't neglect your health!

I know that you will be GLAD when all the paperwork/business with the car is over.
You are sweet in so many ways.
That is wonderful of you to go halves on the camera.
I hope that you have a beautiful day....taking the best care of you.
Smiles from me to you.....
Jackie
P.S. Marcy is going to have me stand in the corner. I haven't written but one poem... I need to get back in the groove!

What feeble attempt? Bernie, you should see my attempts, I'm useless. Have a brilliant day and good luck with the car assessment.

Good morning Bernie
Your poem made me smile before I even read it...your little side note to Marcy made me think..."poem under direst"...
You did a wonderful job...a natural poet.
Maybe you and your friend could split the distance and meet somewhere inorder to get your camera before you leave for your trip home...which by the way is coming up fast...July is flying by fast just like June...how do we slow down time?
I will be meeting with my grade school bunch this Saturday at an icecream parlor(for breakfast)near a bike trail that goes through our town...maybe afterwards we should all take a lonngg walk.
Remember to take it easy Bernie...how is the arthritis this morning...does the weather always affect it?
Smile and take care Bernie!
Wanda

I really enjoyed your poem a lot! And I loved the sentiments and share them.

Your days do sound busy all the time, and you amaze me that you have so much energy all the time. If I do one or two things a day I feel like it's a lot!

My granddaughter will be here within the hour and Jayden will be downstairs any minute so I've got to run.
Just wanted to stop by quick to say, "Hi!"
All the best,
Eileen

You are so sweet Bernie, helping your niece with her camera. My grandmother and I were very close and I really do miss her. It sounds like you are getting all of your ducks in a row for your trip and I'm already looking forward to hearing all about your trip. Is home very far from where you live now? I go to see my doctor today at 2:00 and hopefully he can give me some answers. I will let you know.Later then Bernie!

Hi Val, oh it was a feeble attempt but the girls are so good that I think it only fair to do the same as they try hard as well. Thank you,......:-) Hugs

Sounds like you really need a quiet day!!

Your poetry is wonderful, but gosh even two lines is enough for poetry on Wordful Wednesday...don't have to make it so hard, just fun or funny or even serious...dum da dum dum! (See, even though Jackie has been sooo naughty about not doing her poetry, she is only going to get a five minute time out...the poetry police are VERY lax!!)

So sorry about your car and yet so grateful that no one got hurt!

Too bad your camera can't hitchhike! Wanda's idea of splitting the distance is a good option, though.

Take good care of yourself so you have a great trip.

blessings and hugs,

marcy

Good Morning Wanda, you read me too easy.
The days are going by so fast, I am leaving here on Tuesday, I have had my ticket since April and now the time is almost here. I am like this every year.
My RA is not very good really, it is cool and wet again this morning. Windy as well and the rain is beating down, when the weather is like this it takes me longer to move around and work the stiffness out each morning. I am going to have a bubble bath after cleaning lady leaves and before I go out. Once I move around a bit I am better.
I hope we do meet half way, have lunch and then I can relax about my camera.
Have a great day my friend....Hugs

Eileen, everyone tells me I have so much energy, I don't see it myself. I guess I have always been this way. I only wish my health didn't interfer so much with what I enjoy doing, but others are so much worse I shouldn't complain.
Enjoy your grandchildren today, now that is fun!.....:-) Hugs

Hi Diana, home is 3000 miles away, and I miss being there. I plan on moving home in 3 years and am really looking forward to it.
I am praying for you and hope all goes well at the doctors today, will pop over to your site to see how you make out. Only post though when you feel well enough ok.
My heart and prayers are with you my friend.....:-) Hugs

Hi Gail, oh the poem.....I am not good at writing them but want to go along with my friends. I will enjoy my day, thank you and I wish the same for you.....:-) Hugs

Hi Marcy, so glad you are back. We have missed you.
I do hope you had a wonderful break and enjoyed the beach and your heart/stepdaughter's 21st birthday.
I know you understand how I feel about the poem day, I only tease you. If I didn't really want to do it, I wouldn't so not to worry.
Yes, I am hoping to get my camera back this weekend as I leave Tuesday, and I think Wanda's idea is a great one as well. Take care my friend, welcome home and have a great day......:-) Hugs

Hi Bernie,
That was a really good poem, right to the point. I know it is difficult, but fun, and it is amazing to see what comes out of one another. I know you must be getting anxious and excited about your trip, but I know you will really enjoy it. Hope the weather is warmer there so your arthritis won't be bothering you. My interview went well, and I am pretty sure I got the job, a new position just opened up in the Bakery Department, and she even introduced me to the person who was running that department. I will know for sure on Friday and then I will be going to orientation for which I will be paid.

Bernie said...

Great news Terri, I'm sure you will enjoy the bakery....let me know okay.
My arthritis is horrible, I think its all this rain, cold and wind. My brother called this morning and they are having beautiful weather so I am hoping it will be as nice when I get home.
I am not very good at poems and wanted to take some time and write one yesterday but didn't have time so it is what it is. We have fun teasing Marcy about it.
Have a great day.....:-) Hugs

A mug shot of the little yellow car? Goodness - I hope it doesn't get listed on Canada's most wanted! Sounds as though you're well organized for your trip, Bernie. Keep calm - don't stir up the RA. Take lots of pics on your trip to share.
PS Lovely heartfelt poem.

PPS I like the new look of your blog - very pretty.

Hi Barb, The RA has been pretty bad but so has our weather. I am so looking forward to going home, as I am every year.
I can't imagine no one being able to see my little car, it's so bright!....
Thanks, I was looking for something pink, my favorite color and I will take lots of pictures.
Take care my friend....:-) Hugs

Hi Joan, I am leaving Tuesday the 14th and returning July 29th. I will take loads of pictures to share with everyone.
Take care my friend...:-) Hugs

Joan, home is 3000 miles from here, Moncton, New Brunswick. Sorry I didn't answer sooner. I go home each summer as my brother has a beach house on the ocean just outside of Moncton. I love it there and all of my family come down. I also have many friends there and we golf, go out to dinner, just have fun. I am moving back there in 3 years....its time now but it will be easier for me when I am 65......:-) Hugs
